3. Base for light weight thermal insulating materials:

0,06 (W/mK) and low density 190 (kg/m3) these features allowing to increase useable building area by reducing the thickness of the walls, and at the same time reducing the load on the building’s foundation. Foam glass fire resistance allowing using it in buildings with increased fire safety requirements. Low water absorption (5% from its total weight) allowing using foam glass as insulating material in buildings with high humidity exposure, e.g. swimming pools, saunas, and other sport facilities. Combination of low thermal conductivity and density ideal roof insulation material. Durability and unlimited life span of foam glass helps to avoid the cost of replacing insulation materials throughout the lifetime of the building.
