Construction and Redevelopment
1. Foam glass insulation options for different type of buildings and structures:
Flat roofs Insulation
Thermo and sound insulation of ceilings and floorings
Insulating base for heated flooring
Leveling base for surfaces with engineering communications
Leveling of surfaces where minimum pressure on building base is required (e.g. restoration of old houses)
Draw-well masonry insulation
Thermal and sound insulation of internal and external walls
Thermal and sound insulation of walls and ceilings/flooring in modular buildings and mobile homes
Ground and pavement insulation
Loose fill insulation of technological equipment
2. Fillers for ultra-light thermal insulation construction mixes:
Flooring and ceiling leveling
Restoration dry mortar construction mixes
Lightweight insulating blocks
3. Base for light weight thermal insulating materials:
0,06 (W/mK) and low density 190 (kg/m3) these features allowing to increase useable building area by reducing the thickness of the walls, and at the same time reducing the load on the building’s foundation. Foam glass fire resistance allowing using it in buildings with increased fire safety requirements. Low water absorption (5% from its total weight) allowing using foam glass as insulating material in buildings with high humidity exposure, e.g. swimming pools, saunas, and other sport facilities. Combination of low thermal conductivity and density ideal roof insulation material. Durability and unlimited life span of foam glass helps to avoid the cost of replacing insulation materials throughout the lifetime of the building.
Chemical and Petrochemical industry, pipeline transport, energy sector, food production and etc.
PENOSTEK® foam glass physical properties allow using it in industries with cryogenic or high-temperature processes, in industries with high risk of explosion as well as industries using chemicals reagents and facilities with high humidity. Foam glass is suitable for insulation of technological equipment and pipelines in oil and gas sectors.
foam glass in construction of silos and vegetable storages. Foam glass is out of interest for rodents because it is nonorganic material, none of known biological microorganism has the possibility to exist in it.
Foam glass can either be used in road construction at areas with unstable soil or even at regions with permanently frozen subsoil.
